chad burnett - guitar, voice

chad played drums before jordan joined and todd umhoefer

played guitar and sang before he quit.
 
colony formed in summer 2002 in madison, wi.and played
a number of shows with bands both local and non-, the
most famous of which were probably mike watt and
jucifer.
 
colony released a split 7" with vox humana in october 2003,
an ep called victory bonds in march 2004, an lp called
mercenary position in April 2005 and several songs on the
2004-2006 sector five records and no camoflauge
compilations.
 
colony releases a split lp with the suit in March 2007,
entitled "obtaining fire with box and drill" on sector five records.
 
colony plays angular rock songs that are usually loud,
frequently angry, often catchy and sometimes sad.
